Last Thursday: Creative Glasgow Member Meet Up July 2026
Creative Glasgow members and network are invited to our monthly get together - LAST THURSDAYS are an opportunity to learn more about what's happening in Glasgow's creative and cultural sectors, visit unique venues, and share updates about their own work within a supportive and welcoming environment.
This July we're delighted to be hosted by Agile City at Civic House.
Based in north Glasgow, Agile City is a community interest company operating two venues: Civic House and the Glue Factory. They provide coworking and event spaces for architecture, design, the third sector, community development, and sustainability.
For this meet up we'll get a real behind-the-scenes look at one of the city's most dynamic creative communities. We'll start with a joint welcome over tea, coffee and biscuits in the Canteen, before a tour of the Civic House co-working space with desk holders sharing a little about their work. From there we'll hear about the wider Civic Street development and its future plans, then take a short walk along to the Glue Factory to visit studio holders in their space. We'll round things off back at Civic House with time to keep chatting and connecting.
A lovely bonus: Agile City will be handing out free day pass trials to everyone who attends, so you can come back and try out the space for yourself!
We're looking for 3-4 Agile City residents who'd like to share a short (5-10min) presentation about their work as part of the meet up. Open to co-workers, desk holders, studio holders etc... get in touch if you'd like to contribute programme@creativeglasgow.co.uk
This event is free and open to all - so bring your ideas, your enthusiasm, and your creative spirit!
Access information for guests:
We will be meeting inside Civic House (Canteen Area) at 2pm, before touring the co-working space and walking a short distance to the Glue Factory. The tour finishes at around 4:30pm, with a chance to head back to the Civic House Canteen to continue chatting until 5pm.
Light refreshments will be provided

We will be recording the meeting with photographs and short videos, and circulating a round up of news, resources, opportunities and useful links shared during the meeting in our monthly newsletter. If you do not wish to be photographed please let one of our team know when you arrive.
