About Creative Hearts Club

Creative Hearts Club was founded in 2024 by two Hull-based creatives craving connection and community.

In a quiet corner of a coffee shop, Courtney and Emilie chatted the afternoon away about their lives and experiences as freelancers before saying, “hey, why don’t we do this more often?”.

The pair asked a few creative friends if they fancied joining them next time.

The answer?

A resounding YES.

And, what started as two pals having a natter has turned into:

  • A popular bimonthly meetup

  • Creative workshops and skill sharing sessions

  • Coworking days

  • After work socials

  • And we’re not stopping there!

See our events page for a full list of what’s coming up and how you can get involved.

How do I get there?

Humber Street Gallery is located at 64 Humber St, Hull, HU1 1TU.

It’s around a 15-minute walk from Paragon Interchange (Hull’s bus and train station).

Alternatively, if you’re driving in, there is on-street parking nearby, or you can park at a few of the pay-and-display car parks close-by, including Fruit Market Carpark (closest) and High Street Car Park (5-min walk).

Is this event exclusive to freelancers?

Nope! Everyone is welcome. Typically, we have a good mix of full-time freelancers, people with side hustles, and those who work on their passions outside of their 9-5s.

Is food/drink available?

Humber Street Gallery has a great selection of food and drink options in their Cafe.
