Improvisation Jam

Multiple dates and times St Mark's Church, Talbot Village, BH10 4HY

We are hosting an improvisation jam, which is a held space for movement, drawing, music and writing. Family members are welcome to join this session which promises to be full of joy and most importantly, play.

We're working with a new location: St. Mark's Church in Talbot Village, Wallisdown, Bournemouth. The church hall is accessible to wheelchair users, has an accessible toilet and a car park on site.

This is an inclusive group session with no specific creative discipline taking the lead – we welcome you to join us and bring your creative practice and curiosity along for the ride. Please note that you will be asked to take off your shoes to keep the floor as clean as possible for dancing. We will provide paper and drawing resources for the session, so dress comfortably and get stuck in.

Pay what you can

Our goal is to make these events accessible to all, whilst also making them sustainable. We operate on a 'Pay What You Can' basis to ensure everyone can participate; contributions help us continue to offer this creative space to all. We suggest the following contributions, but please give what feels right for your budget.

Adult: £10

Concessions (Full time student/Over 65s/Children): £5

Not sure what to expect from a jam?

Intrigued but also terrified? Watching is also a contribution to the jam, and we will provide some creative prompts throughout the session. This short film offers some highlights from previous jam events
