Come and discover an exciting new project taking place in Bodmin and find out how you can get involved

Creative Kernow are pleased to announce the Bodmin chapter of our Creative Connections project, as part of Experience Bodmin. In the next 8 months, we will host a series of exciting events, with interesting activities and inspiring speakers, connecting businesses and communities in and around Bodmin.

To kickstart the project, we’re inviting anyone working in and around Bodmin - whether that’s in culture, heritage, leisure, as part of a community group, an organisation or as a freelancer - to drop in on Tuesday 29th July. You will learn more about the project and discover an array of exciting Bodmin-focused opportunities coming up. These include:

  • Grants of £3,500 from Experience Bodmin for organisations and businesses trying out new ideas to bring visitors to Bodmin and the surrounding areas;
  • Five opportunities for artist commissions as part of Flamm Festival, which is coming to the town next year;
  • Support and funding for projects taking place in the town as part of Flamm through FEAST’s place-based grant;
  • Free business support and mentoring for six local businesses to grow as part of the wider visitor economy.

This will also be a great way of connecting with fellow businesses and meeting potential collaborators (as well as having a free drink…!).

Drop in and join us from 6pm – 7.30pm at IntoBodmin.

To help us keep track of numbers, reserve your free spot.

About Experience

This speaker session forms part of Experience, a Cornwall Council led project, promoting Cornwall as a year-round destination. Working across Newquay and Bodmin, Experience aims to attract more visitors to these areas by developing unique cultural and low-carbon experiences. The project is working with partners to deliver inspiring talks, networking opportunities and mentoring to businesses and organisations working in the visitor, leisure and creative economies.

Experience is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (2025–26) and from Cornwall Council’s Town Centre Revitalisation Fund (2026–27).
