FEAST FESTIVALS' NETWORK MEETING

We’re getting together this November at The Ladder in Redruth! 

After years of work, funding, and care, The Ladder will officially open its doors at the end of October 2025, and we’ll be among the very first to explore this fantastic new performance and community space. You’ll get to see the building in all its glory, and even check out the view from the turret!  

You might have seen the excitement online about the Festival Interceltique de Lorient 2026, when it will be the Year of the Cornish (La Cornouailles, au cœur de la Mer Celtique — Cornwall, the heart of the Celtic Sea). But what does that actually mean, and what even is the Lorient Festival? We’re delighted that Grand Bard Jenefer Lowe will be joining us to spill the tea!  After more than a decade at the helm as the Cornish delegate, Jenefer will share the fascinating history of the festival, explain how the Year of Cornwall came about, and tell us what it really means for Cornwall. 

Plus, there’ll be the usual opportunities to network, catch up, and munch on biscuits!

Please note there is limited residential parking at the Ladder. The closest car park is Fair Meadow car park. Fair Meadow, Redruth train station and the bus stop are a 5-10 minute walk from The Ladder. And if you have time you could check out The Ladders beautiful roundels on the way.
