Get to know other local creatives while learning the ancient art of corn dolly making - one of Britain’s endangered crafts. Once woven to bring good fortune to harvests, these beautiful straw figures carry centuries of tradition. This will be a great opportunity to meet other artists and makers in a welcoming and creative space, while learning the skills to keep this craft alive in Cornwall.

The session will be run by Susanna Webster, who has significant experience with running creative community sessions across galleries, museums and festivals such as Tate St Ives, Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery and Larmer Tree and Towersey Festival.

This event is run by Creative Kernow Associates and Cornwall Museum and Art Gallery (formerly Royal Cornwall Museum).
