Want to kickstart your career at Sony?

Join us at Sony Music UK for a panel event, helping you to learn what entry-level jobs exist in the entertainment industry, the skills and experience employers are looking for, and tips and tricks to help you on your journey and so you can get your foot in the door. 

Plus we will talk about the upcoming 2027 Sony Music Internships Scheme, applications for which will open on August 10th and close on August 24th. We'll cover the information you need to create the perfect application and you'll have the chance to ask your questions to members of the Sony Talent Acquisition Team and the panel, which includes past Sony Interns.

The panel will be hosted by Silvia Gargiulo, who has spent 25 years in the industry and helped hundreds of people start their careers through her work at BIY Future Talent where she runs the amazing in person music business careers event Prove Your Passion Live.

What we'll cover:

• The jobs that actually exist at entry level, and what each one involves day to day
• The skills and behaviours that get people hired, and what employers are really looking for
• How to build and use a network when you're starting from zero
• What the recruitment process looks like, so nothing catches you out
• The unwritten rules: timekeeping, professionalism, and reading the room
• Handling rejection and staying in it for the long game
