Fashion Design Workshop: Creative Youth Summer Programme

Fashion Design Workshop 

Delivered as part of the Stirling Council Holiday Programme and led by the Creative Stirling Youth Steering Group, this creative workshop introduces young people to the world of fashion design.

Participants will explore colour, pattern, and style while creating their own fashion concepts on paper. Using templates, sketching techniques, and design activities, they will develop patterned outfit ideas and recreate fashion-inspired looks through drawing and illustration. No sewing or clothing construction is involved.

This workshop encourages creativity, self-expression, and confidence while giving participants the opportunity to experiment with fashion design in a fun and supportive environment.

Time: 10:30am–1:00pm
Lunch: Served at 12:30pm
Age: 10-14 years
Includes: Lunch provided by Kitchen at 44 and includes all materials, and creative fashion design activities. We will get in touch before the event to find out your lunch choice and any allergies we should be aware of.

Creative Stirling’s Summer Programme is aimed at children, young people and families living in Mercat Cross, Stirling City Centre and other SIMD priority areas, with priority given to families in Mercat Cross where we have an established presence and strong local relationships. Places will also be offered to children and young people who may face financial, social or practical barriers to participation, including social isolation, caring responsibilities, additional support needs, or limited access to extracurricular opportunities.

Our approach is rooted in dignity, equity and inclusion, ensuring children and families can access support in ways that are welcoming, respectful and responsive to their needs.
