Lino Printing Workshop: Creative Youth Summer Programme

Lino Printing Workshop

Delivered as part of the Stirling Council Holiday Programme and led by the Creative Stirling Youth Steering Group, this hands-on workshop introduces young people to the creative process of lino printing.

Participants will design and create their own unique prints using pre cut lino, exploring patterns, shapes, and image-making techniques. They will learn how designs are transferred and printed, experimenting with different layouts and colours to produce their own artwork to take home.

This workshop encourages creativity, problem-solving, and artistic expression in a fun and supportive environment, while providing an introduction to a traditional printmaking technique.

Age: 10–-4 years
Includes: All materials and guided lino printing activities. Lunch provided by the Kitchen at 44. We will get in touch before the event to find out your lunch choice and any allergies we should be aware of.

Creative Stirling’s Summer Programme is aimed at children, young people and families living in Mercat Cross, Stirling City Centre and other SIMD priority areas, with priority given to families in Mercat Cross where we have an established presence and strong local relationships. Places will also be offered to children and young people who may face financial, social or practical barriers to participation, including social isolation, caring responsibilities, additional support needs, or limited access to extracurricular opportunities.

Our approach is rooted in dignity, equity and inclusion, ensuring children and families can access support in ways that are welcoming, respectful and responsive to their needs.
