Trading Card Design Workshop
Delivered as part of the Stirling Council Holiday Programme and led by the Creative Youth Assembly alongside the Creative Stirling Community Team, this creative workshop gives young people the opportunity to design their very own trading card.
Participants will explore examples of popular trading card games, learning about card layouts, artwork, and character design before creating their own unique trading card using a mix of digital and traditional art techniques.
All materials will be provided, and finished designs will be professionally printed and sent to participants after the workshop.
Time: 10:30am–1:00pm
Age: 9-14 years
Includes: Lunch provided by The Kitchen at 44, all materials, and professional printing of completed designs. We will get in touch before the event to find out your lunch choice and any allergies we should be aware of.
Creative Stirling’s Summer Programme is aimed at children, young people and families living in Mercat Cross, Stirling City Centre and other SIMD priority areas, with priority given to families in Mercat Cross where we have an established presence and strong local relationships. Places will also be offered to children and young people aged 5-14 who may face financial, social or practical barriers to participation, including social isolation, caring responsibilities, additional support needs, or limited access to extracurricular opportunities.
Our approach is rooted in dignity, equity and inclusion, ensuring children and families can access support in ways that are welcoming, respectful and responsive to their needs.
