10 am - 11:30 Drop-in draw-along with Bob and Vicki. This part of the event is designed to be fun for kids, but all are welcome to Draw Bear and Molly with us! If some middle-schoolers attend, we may get to create comic strips together!

11:30 - 12:30 Book signing and raffle time! Bring your own copy of Molly and the Bear, an Unlikely Pair or buy the book at the event! Bob and Vicki will sign the graphic novel! Also, surprise items to raffle!

12:30 - 2:30 Bob and Vicki will talk about their publishing journey and do a Q and A. This part of the event is for people wanting to know more about publishing, developing their own IP, or just want to talk about how great bears are.

Join us for a whole day of Molly and the Bear fun to celebrate our first graphic novel! Molly and the Bear, and Unlikely Pair! Yes, it's a whole graphic novel that tells the origin story of our two stars' friendship. The book is for middle grade readers, which is book-speak for 3rd to 5th graders. The book features Bob Scott's beautiful art and hilarity, so older readers will laugh their way through it, too!

Kicking off the day, we will lead the group in drawing Bear! This part of the day is made for kids but anyone can draw with us! Feel free to drop in any time during the draw-along time! We plan to just keep drawing more and more Bears until the time is up! If older kids drop in, we can even create comic strips together!

Next is the book signing and raffle part of the day! Authors and illustrators, Bob and Vicki, will happily sign the graphic novel - feel free to bring your own copy from home or we will have some to sell at the event. And, yes! There will be a raffle! Special books, comic books and maybe a surprise will be raffled! No purchase needed. The raffle tickets are free. Share the fun with us!

And finally, a chat and Q and A. We had such a great experience making this book (and another due out this August) that we want to share the journey with anyone interested in trying out publishing! We are originally from animation, and we can talk forever about how similar graphic novels are to animation story department work. Come with your questions! Come for the cookies! Come and say Hi!
