Oliver will help you both how to see and how to think about story during his deep dive into the mechanics and magic while at the same time giving you the opportunity to drive the direction of the demo and the conversation with your questions.

OLIVER THOMAS is a high level 2D animator and illustrator who's career has gone deep into story with 14 feature film credits from epic feature film studios. Along with recently directing the critically acclaimed short, “Good Hunting” for the Netflix show “Love, Death and Robots,” he’s worked next to some of the finest animators in history on a multitude of spectacular films and brings with him a wealth of skills, pure talent and a devotional study of every aspect of how we bring our stories to life. Currently one of the industry’s leading storyboard artists working for Laika Studios, Oliver will share insights, tools and practices for bringing your best ideas powerfully to the world in a casual live demo and interactive AMA.
