Crilli DNB presents: DJ Koncept Pacific Perception LP launch

Crilli lands back at USC on Saturday 6th June to celebrate the release of Bangor born, New Zealand-based DJ Koncept's debut LP "Pacific Perception".

Koncept is a seasoned competitor in the world of DJ battles and turntablism with accolades including IDA UK and Ireland Scratch Champion and Winner of the DMC Mixing Championships "Battle for UK Supremacy". DJing in the battle world has long made up a substantial part of Koncept's musical identity, but now is his time to shine with his drum and bass productions.

"Pacific Perception" in all its ice-cool glory is the culmination of four years of focused work and study, a celebration of the deep and cerebral textures of the Good Looking Records era of the 90s, brought bang up to date with Koncept's modern production sheen and a "rough with the smooth" attitude. The release has already attracted the attention and support of the likes of LTJ Bukem. It is a fantastic album and one we are very proud to celebrate at Crilli.

Koncept will be joined on the night by the Crilli residents and Dublin's Kristina Ambit, a talented producer in her own right who has made regular appearances at Crilli including warming up for Goldie.

Pacific Perception is out on Fokuz Recordings/ Vinyl Combat on Friday 6th June. Exclusive vinyl copies will be available to buy on the night.
