CUPS AND CUFFS LETTER

There’s nothing quite like golf under the lights — and we’re excited to bring it back for the 16th Annual Cups & Cuffs Golf Tournament at LaFortune Park Par 3 Golf Course on April 23rd, 2026.

Check-in will take place from 5:00–5:15 p.m., dinner will be served at 5:15 p.m., and the shotgun start is set for 6:00 p.m.

Proceeds from this tournament benefit the Crime Prevention Network, also known to many as Tulsa Crime Stoppers. Our mission is to provide crime prevention education and safety awareness services to residents and public safety partners throughout the greater Tulsa area.

Over the past couple of years alone, our Crime Stoppers tip line, 596-COPS, has generated approximately 7,000 tips, leading to nearly 50 felony arrests and the recovery of tens of thousands of dollars in stolen property, cash, and narcotics. Most notably, tips related to the Good Friday shootings in 2012 led to the swift arrest of the suspects — a powerful example of police, city leaders, and vigilant citizens working together to keep our community safe.

Our Alert Neighbor program trains proactive volunteers and reaches more than 100,000 residents, empowering neighborhoods with the tools needed to prevent crime. In addition, we proudly support Tulsa’s youth through programs such as the Tulsa Police Reading Patrol and Project Trust, both focused on building trust and strengthening relationships between young people and law enforcement.

Project Trust brings officers into classrooms for a six-week program. Tulsa Police Reading Patrol sends officers to apartment complexes to read with children after school, supported by our refurbished Book Nooks, which provide access to books in neighborhoods where resources may be limited.

Furthermore, in response to a surge in catalytic converter thefts, we launched Etch to Protect in 2022. Through partnerships with local dealerships, vehicle owners could have their VINs etched on their catalytic converters at no cost, helping deter theft and make stolen property easier to trace.
