Critical Signals Friends & Whānau Launch

We're coming up to the launch of Critical Signals 2026, and we'd love to see you there! Come to our officieel launch of Critical Signals 2026, to whakawhanaungatanga with the committee, participants, friends, and family.

This year's launch is eel themed, celebrating our native fauna, and acknowledging the eels that once swam in the Waimaphi river that flows beneath Te Aro.

• Dress up in something that feeels "eel" to you, and come and enjoy a screening of the short film "Cinema for Eels" by Tanya Ruka.
• Share kai with us, bring a plate of something yummy! Vegetarian and vegan food will be available.
• Make your own merch at our print table, bring a t-shirt, hoodie, bag, whatever you want to print on!
