Dana Glenn, Director of Licensing, Childcare and Community Services with the Tennessee Department of Human Services, will provide information about the NEW Care Partnership Grants. The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) is dedicated to expanding access to affordable, high-quality childcare in Tennessee. For the manufacturing industry, retention and recruitment of workforce continues to be a challenge. Child-care is central to the well-being of most employees. This new initiative will use some of the Child Care Improvement Fund to aid in the creation of child-care access for employers and their workforce. You will also hear from a local manufacturing company representative regarding their experience with this new grant initiative.
