Crossmylaff Comedy - Krystal Evans & Friends!

***SAVE THE DATE! THE CROSSMYLAFF/GLAD CAFE PANTO (OVER 18's ONLY) IS ON DECEMBER 3/4/5! ***

It's year 10 of the Southside's longest-running, BIG, Award-Winning Saturday Night of Comedy at The Glad Cafe!

Who's On?

Our headline act is scriptwriter, actor, author and most importantly comedian Krystal Evans, back after too much time away!

Accolades? Well how about Leicester Mercury New Comedian of the Year finalist, Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist, a  nomination for Best Newcomer in the (ISH) Edinburgh Comedy Awards 2023 AND nominated for Best Show in the Biggest Award in Comedy 2023! We're delighted to have Krystal back!

Krystal's joined by force-of-nature, host of the acclaimed 'Open Sauce Comedy' and recent Bestie Award winner at the Edinburgh Fringe for her show 'Oot Ma Banger', Tia Rey, the once-yearly deadpan genius of Jay Miles, brand new (to us!) Claude M and aloha to returning favourite Eddy MacKenzie! PLUS top tunes from house band The Isaac Haze! More details to follow but honestly, don't sit around on this one, this show WILL sell out! (Well, I mean they all do...but quick!)

Did you know that many Saturday night comedy shows don't pay their newer acts anything because they're 'giving them a break'? Not Crossmylaff. We've given acts a break too AND paid everyone since our September 2017 show because it's the right thing to do, so when you buy a ticket from us you're directly supporting new comedy talent, NOT just promoters! Thank you! #payouracts

*** META (AND OTHER) SMART GLASSES WEARERS! PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO INCREASING NUMBERS OF PRIVACY CONCERNS WITHIN THE COMEDY COMMUNITY WE ASK THAT YOU DO NOT WEAR SMART GLASSES TO OUR SHOWS, AS WE ARE AWARE THAT COVERT FILMING AND RECORDING IS POSSIBLE. REFUSAL TO REMOVE THEM WILL RESULT IN BEING EJECTED FROM THE VENUE. THANKS FOR BEING UNDERSTANDING! ***

Our shows are strictly 18+ and our venue is 100% accessible street to show! Line-ups may be subject to change.
