"Absolutely brilliant comedy night. Hip little venue with a good bar and café. The comedians were fab and so many of them. Headline act was fantastic. Can't wait to go again." - Suzy M

"Everything we anticipated- just great - excellent MC and wonderful contributions from all who contributed. What a night of frivolity. Anarchic and acceptably coarse." - Colin from Barrhead

"Great comedy, great venue, great bar people, great audience, great menu, great toilets, great snacks, great walkway, great signs, great beards, great teeth :)" - Del13

"Woke lefty BS" - Simon G

Who's on, you say?

We're delighted to welcome back the amazing Stuart McPherson to Crossmylaff fresh-ish off the back of a brilliant Edinburgh Fringe run with his show 'The Peesh' (no, us neither).  You've seen Stuart on many a weekend comedy stage up and down the land, or in BBC's 'Scotsquad' as Archie Pepper. He's a fantastic comic, and don't just take our word for it...

'a highly engaging storyteller and, like any good comic, it very much feels like it’s only you in the room with him. What sets McPherson apart as a performer is there’s yet to be anyone else to explore the pain that comes with being a ‘millenial’ with quite so much accuracy and intimacy... [They] aren’t topics that scream comedy gold mine. But in McPherson’s hands, they are beyond hilarious.' - The Skinny

'a terrific torrent of laughs from start to finish, a relentlessly funny hour from a great emerging Scottish talent' - The Sunday Post

'if you've never seen his stand up, it's time to make that right' - The Times

Opening our show is the brilliant Kirsty Morrison! A Scottish Comedian of the Year finalist in 2017, Kirsty is in demand as a comedian and host and featured on the BBC's 'Rap Battles' on the iPlayer where you can watch her demolish with polish!

Crossmylaff favourite (and frequent host when Fergus is in jail and pretending to be on holiday) Graham Stewart is entertainment in human form! His quick-fire jokes and deft magical tricks made him a frequent winner at The State Bar's gong show and he's gone on to host and run his own shows the length and breadth of the city! A breathtaking talent and damn nice guy to boot!

Giulia Galastro is a new-ish comedian, born in Italy, now based in Edinburgh. Giulia spent two years in Paris, being shouted at by a furious, French clown. She hosts 'Open Comedy', a weekly comedy night in Edinburgh, and is a regular on 'Diary Confidential', a monthly night of diary-based mortification.

We're absolutely delighted to welcome back the wonderful Craig Johnstone, returning to the stage for the first time after a break from comedy following a tumultuous few years. After having gigged for around five years before breaking away, he wants to return to the friends and audiences who helped shape the course of his life…for better and for worse!

Our shows are fully accessible, no step from street to venue. Our shows are 18+.
