OVERVIEW

Coaching and Thought Partnership Sessions

Institutional transformation is challenging work that raises complex questions and requires strategic navigation. Crossroads provides institutional leaders and organizers with dedicated thought partnership from experienced facilitators who understand the nuances of this work.

What Coaching and Thought Partnership Offer

Our sessions create space for you to:

  • Apply Crossroads frameworks to your specific context: Every institution is unique. Work with a facilitator to translate Crossroads tools and analysis into strategies that fit your organization's particular culture, structure, and challenges.
  • Navigate organizing challenges strategically: Whether you're facing resistance, building coalitions across difference, or determining next steps in your transformation work, our facilitators help you think through obstacles and identify pathways forward.
  • Process complex dynamics: Organizing for antiracism surfaces difficult emotions, interpersonal tensions, and institutional resistance. Coaching provides a space to process what you're experiencing and develop responses that keep the work moving forward.
  • Refine your approach: Get feedback on your organizing strategies, help troubleshooting what isn't working, and support in capitalizing on opportunities for change.

Who Should attend a Coaching and Thought Partnership Session

These sessions are ideal for:

  • Institutional leaders stewarding antiracist transformation efforts
  • Internal organizers navigating resistance or building momentum
  • Change agents processing complex interpersonal or political dynamics
  • Anyone applying Crossroads frameworks who needs support translating concepts into action

Whether you're just beginning your institution's antiracist journey or deep into transformation work, consultation offers the personalized guidance that can make the difference between feeling stuck and moving forward with clarity and confidence.

How It Works

After registering for coaching, you'll complete a brief questionnaire about your role, your institution, and the specific challenges or questions you're bringing to the coaching session. This helps us match you with the Crossroads facilitator whose expertise best aligns with your needs—whether that's navigating particular institutional dynamics, working with specific constituencies, or addressing certain organizing challenges.

Once you register, please check the registration confirmation email for the link to complete the Questionnaire.

Sessions are 40 minutes and take place at scheduled times via Zoom or phone. This focused timeframe encourages you to come prepared with specific questions while allowing enough space for meaningful dialogue and strategic thinking.
