2024 Crowland and Thorney 1940s weekend
Join us for our third 1940s weekend in aid of the restoration of the Crowland Buffalo and the creation of a museum. The Crowland and Thorney 1940s weekend at Located at Thorney near Peterborough will bring people together to remember past times, share memories and see the groups and individual who keep history alive. The recovered Buffalo LVT will take pride of place on site and there will be battles, flypast*, living history groups, re-enactors, vintage stalls, refreshments, live music and entertainment and more. A bar will be provided by Coronation Bars throughout the weekend. On Saturday evening we will by joined by Kalamazoo, one of the most popular 1940’s Big Bands on the circuit.

We will also be commemorating the 80th anniversary of D-Day, Market Garden and Battle of the Bulge.
Accompanied children aged 15 or under are free. Tickets are non-refundable. If you are camping there is a 20% discount on the evening dance tickets, for a maximum of two tickets. Pay full price here then contact us at the entrance at the event with proof of your camping status to claim back your discount back.
