2026 Crowland and Thorney 1940s Weekend

Join us for our fifth 1940s weekend in aid of the restoration of the Crowland Buffalo and museum. The Crowland and Thorney 1940s weekend, located at Thorney near Peterborough, will bring people together to remember past times, share memories and see the groups and individual who keep history alive.

The recovered Buffalo LVT will take pride of place on site and there will be living history groups, re-enactors, vintage stalls, refreshments, live music and entertainment and more. A bar will be provided by Coronation Bars throughout the weekend. Saturday evening you can dance the night away with music from the 40s to the 80s with 40s Home Front and live music.

Accompanied children aged 15 or under are free. Tickets are non-refundable.
