Fearlessness, confidence, gratitude. The benefits of meditation reach far beyond bringing calm and reducing anxiety. Join this six-week course to free your heart and mind.
What will we be doing on this course?
On this course, we'll be exploring four meditation techniques. With each meditation you'll learn how to shape and train your own mind. You'll walk away with tools to be more calm and grounded, and connected to gratitude and appreciation of all life. If you keep practicing meditation beyond the course, you might notice becoming more fearless and confident in life.
Experienced teachers will introduce you to a colourful and imaginative approach to meditation. We'll be using Buddhist symbols, but you don't need any prior experience of Buddhism for this to work! You'll also have the chance to discuss your experience, and ask for guidance.
Who is this course for?
The course is suitable for complete newcomers, or those who have done previous introductory courses. All our sessions are held in a calm environment, which is more supportive than practicing at home.
Costs
All our Buddhism and meditation courses are on a donation basis — there’s no fixed fee. Your contribution supports the running of the Centre and helps keep the teachings available to everyone. For this course, we suggest a donation of £120 (waged) or £75 (unwaged), but please give what you can—more if you're able, less if you need to (you can amend the donation amount as you wish when you sign up). Everyone is welcome, regardless of what they can afford. Please note that all donations are non-refundable.
