Heart as Wide as the World
Mindful Emotion and Loving-Kindness - a Five Week Course
Open to all - newcomers or more experienced
Led by Sucimani and Viryadeva
Eight Wednesday Evenings, 7:15pm - 9:30pm, starting 9th March
By donation; recommended donation £50
Sometimes our world can seem more divided and fractious than ever. Buddhism gives us tools to understand our emotions and to cultivate more happy and expansive states of mind. The more we develop these skills, the more we can have - either quietly or more actively - a positive influence on the world around us.
This five-week course will be suitable for those new to meditation, or those who want to explore more. For longer-term practitioners who maybe struggle with loving-kindness, it will also give you a fresh perspective and helpful resources. We'll be exploring in practical detail ways of being more mindful of our emotions, so that we can cultivate more kind and happy ways of being and responding to the world.
We're priceless! All our classes offering Buddhist teaching are by donation, because we believe that the Buddha's teachings should be freely given. We recommend a donation of £50 for this course, but we welcome you however much you can afford to give.
