Mind is Luminous: Going Beyond Negative Thinking
Wednesdays, 13 July to 17 August, 7.15pm to 9.30pm
Led by Vajragupta, Taramani, and Mokshadarshini
All welcome - in-person at the Buddhist Centre
The Buddha said that mind is luminous, but that our negative thinking obscures the natural radiance of our mind.
On this course we will be looking at the Buddhist concept of papanca, which means proliferation, amplification, or exaggeration - that tendency of the mind to over-think in unhelpful ways. We'll be uncovering the real causes of papanca, and learning how to transform it, so that the luminosity of our minds can shine forth more freely.
This course will be suitable for newcomers and for those who've already attended the Centre and want to learn more.
We're priceless! All our classes offering Buddhist teaching are by donation, because we believe that the Buddha's teachings should be freely given. We recommend a donation of £80/60 for this course, but we welcome you however much you can afford to give.
