WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING ABOUT OUR TRAINING

“it is always helpful to have the notes to refer back to - thank you! Just talking through models and behaviors to understand how different people develop through grief and what is right for one may not be for someone else - a very personal journey” Emma, Blue Cross

“In my line of work, we have had to deal with suicides immediately after they have happened and it helped with how we can support our own staff after such an event, and also to understand how bereaved families use coping mechanisms and how we can support that. ” Karen, West Yorkshire Combined Authority

“I found the section on the guiding principles helpful. I do a lot of training in my courses about active listening, so it was useful to think about active listening and appropriate language specifically around bereavement. The models were interesting to understand our journey through grief, both professionally as someone who is often training those bereaved by suicide but also personally, having lost my mum just over a year ago” Kay – the DPD foundation
