OVERVIEW

This training provides a greater awareness of the impact of bereavement and grief on children, young adults and their families. It looks at the understanding of death at different stages of development and how children and young people respond to grief. The training gives you the tools and confidence to support children and young adults who are dealing with bereavement.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Anyone who works with children and young adults in school, organisational or therapeutic settings and wants a better understanding of how they react to bereavement and how best to support them.

COURSE FORMAT

Webinars are held in Zoom and will run for 2 ½ hours with a break in the middle. Courses have a maximum of 15 delegates, facilitated by a Cruse trainer experienced in bereavement support. They are interactive, allowing for questions and for delegates to discuss grief and loss in the context of their organisation or role.
