Insanely good live and loud Reggae / Ska covers band
Based in Sheffield, Jungle Lion have been playing for over 10 years now, performing a mix of early SKA songs by the likes of the Skatalites and Desmond Dekker, later 2Tone SKA songs by the Specials, Selecter, Band Manners, Madness, as well as Reggae tunes by Bob Marley, the Upsetters, Jimmy Cliff, etc.

They play a lot of well known classics, plus some more obscure numbers thrown in there too, sometimes they mash a couple of songs together into their own arrangements, all precision engineered to achieve their mission of getting rooms full of people up dancing.

SKA and Reggae music is loads of fun, and Jungle Lion have the right band to deliver it, with 5 vocals, 8 horns, 2 guitars, drums, bass, and keyboards. Their versatility and the size of their sound really is a special experience to see live.

Jungle Lion have performed with The Wailers, the Skatalites, Toots & the Maytals, Bad Manners, the Selecter, the Beat, plus many others, from tiny pubs to headlined festival stages.
