Join us for six weeks of structured, league-style Mahjong at US Pizza in Bryant! This winter session is designed for players who want consistent play, friendly competition, skill-building, and community — all in a fun, welcoming environment.

Whether you’re looking to sharpen your strategy, track your progress, or enjoy a weekly Mahj night with the same group, this league offers the perfect balance of structure and social play.

🗓 LEAGUE DETAILS

Thursdays: Jan 15, Jan 22, Jan 29, Feb 5, Feb 12, Feb 19

Time: 6:00–8:00 PM

Location: US Pizza – Bryant, AR

Capacity: Limited to 32 players (8 tables of 4)

🀄 HOW THE LEAGUE WORKS

• Six-week league with weekly play
• 32 players divided across 8 tables
• 4 rounds played each night
• Scores recorded using league score sheets
• Weekly scores added to cumulative league standings
• Standings shared weekly in a GroupMe chat

This league emphasizes skill development, consistency, and friendly competition — not games of chance

🔢 SCORING FORMAT

• Base points: NMJL card values
• +10 points: Jokerless Mahj
• +10 points: Self-pick (drawing your own winning tile)
• –10 points: Discarding the winning tile
• +10 points: Wall Game (points awarded to all players)

All scoring is performance-based and used solely to track league progress.

🎁 RECOGNITION & AWARDS

• Weekly participation recognition for attendance and engagement
• Line Tracker Award: Presented to the player who completes the most unique NMJL lines over the session
• Season Finale Recognition (Feb 19):
  One featured player will receive the Bam Bird Boutique Classic Tortoise Shell Travel Mahjong Bundle ($345 value) in recognition of overall league participation and performance throughout the session

Awards are not chance-based and do not require additional purchases.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES

• This is not a lesson — players must know how to play American Mah Jongg
• Completion of a Mahj 101 class is required
• All skill levels welcome
• Final night seating (Feb 19) will group players by cumulative league performance
• Please bring your 2025 NMJL card (all tiles, racks, and mats provided)
• Tickets are non-refundable
• Players are responsible for coordinating subs or shared partners
• A GroupMe chat will be created for all league players and approved subs

💳 PAYMENT OPTIONS

• Full League Registration: $195
• 2-Payment Option: $100 now + $95 due by January 29th (limited availability)
• Shared League Spot: Two players may split one registration with advance approval

This league is a social, skill-based Mahjong program. Tickets grant access to scheduled gameplay sessions only. No gambling, raffles, lotteries, or games of chance are involved.
