SECURING ANGEL INVESTMENT FOR YOUR EARLY-STAGE COMPANY
This live online 2 hour course includes a video recording provided afterwards, book your place for £99+VAT per person or £120+VAT for 2 people (£60+VAT each).
You’ve come up with the idea and started a company but can’t get enough money from the bank to grow and develop your business. This two-hour, interactive, online course is for company founders who are looking to raise investment for their early-stage business from High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) or Business Angels.
The course will be delivered by Andrew Caesar-Gordon, a business owner, angel investor and communications expert. Having run companies for over 20 years, Andrew understands what it takes to establish and grow a business. Having raised capital for his own companies and invested in start-up and scale-up companies since 2018, he understands the needs and drivers of those seeking investment, and those providing it. As a communications expert, he also advises clients on how to create and pitch an engaging and compelling story to secure funding.
The course will be streamed live, direct to your desktop, tablet or smart phone so you can watch it from your office or home anywhere in the world. You can participate in the conference live or watch the recorded version whenever or wherever you want. In each case you will receive a recording of the complete conference after the event.
There will be advice and case studies, an interactive exercise to help you shape your pitch, and time for Q&As. Delegates will take away from this course an in-depth understanding of:
- how HNWI and Angels think;
- what makes a compelling pitch for such investors;
- what about you, your idea or your plans would encourage/ prevent them from investing and what you need to do to overcome them;
- how to develop a short, effective ‘elevator pitch’ about your company which will appeal to investors, how to prepare your presentation and a data-room, and what to expect from the HNWI and Angels in the room.
Andrew’s main business is Electric Airwaves. Operating globally from TV and radio studios in central London, his 50 journalists and trainers coach leaders in business, the public and third sectors how to communicate confidently and effectively in presentations and media interviews.
He has built a company that works with a third of the FTSE100, global brands such as Disney, AirBnB, Proctor & Gamble and Sony. In the early 2000s, he bought, ran and sold an audio production company which was the first to be commissioned to provide independent radio programming for the BBC. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, he spent over ten years as a government affairs and corporate communications consultant, plus a stint as a UK government Special Adviser at the Cabinet Office. Alongside his public speaking, he has written numerous articles, made two short films for Channel 4 and contributed to newspapers, magazines, television and radio programmes.
