BIRMINGHAM CUBE CLASH is a Magic: the Gathering cube tournament featuring 20 unique brewed Cubes from across the UK.

We have partnered up with UK Pauper Nationals to run a joint event!
We are sharing Secret Space, Digbeth to bring you this one day extravaganza.
As such, there will be a Pauper tournament happening alongside our Cube event. There will be up to 300 players in total! 
Long live the grass-roots formats!

What is the structure of the day
1. Registration at 09:00 am
2. Cube Draft 1.   8-player pods, 3 rounds of Swiss
3. Lunch
4. Cube Draft 2. Different cube. 8-player pods, 3 rounds of Swiss
5. Top-8 single elimination draft
5a. If you did not make top-8, you are welcome to stay and fire another Cube draft!

Which Cubes will I play?
Before the event, all players will use the Hedron Network to submit a ranked choice for the Cubes they would like to play; the Hedron Network optimises for the best experience for everyone; everyone will get the chance to play at least 2 unique cubes and are welcome to stay for a third.

Are there prizes?
This is a 'fun-first' event. As such, prizes are not our main focus.
There will be bespoke top-8 playmats and pins for pod 3-0s!

Do I need to have played cube before?
No!
Some cubes will be more beginner friendly - make sure you choose them!

Will there be anything cool to buy? 
We will be selling special edition Cube Clash playmats and pins.

Can I turn up on the day without a ticket?
If there are still available spots, you are welcome to turn up on the day and purchase a ticket. All previous Cube Clashes have been fully sold out!

Will there be food and drink?
There will be a bar and food available to buy at the venue, with many other options close by.

How do I get to the venue? 
We are a 10 minute walk from Moor Street Station, and 15 from New Street Station.

I'm a Pauper player, can I attend Cube Clash for the afternoon draft?
If you crash out of Pauper Nationals, you are welcome to buy a half-day ticket at £15 on the day, subject to availability.
We are working closely with the Pauper Nationals team to finalise the logistics of this.

Are there refunds?
Sadly we cannot offer refunds as this event is small-scale and grassroots.
If you would like to arrange to sell on your ticket, please let us know.
