To celebrate the relaunch of the Green Craft Initiative, we are organising a meetup for makers and people working in the area of craft and climate. Lunch is on us!

Our Green Tease meetups are a chance to get together, to hear about creative-climate projects and to make connections between people working in climate and culture in Scotland.

During this meetup, Craft Scotland will share inspiration from 10 years of the Green Craft Initiative. Launched in 2014, the Green Craft Initiative’s goal is to connect, support and inspire the Scottish craft sector to reduce their environmental impact – wherever you are on that journey.

Each meetup provides a space for a handful of people to share a project or an idea for something they'd like others to get involved with. If you wish to have five minutes to present, please share details in the registration process or email eleanor.white@cultureforclimate.scot

About Green Tease

Green Tease is Culture for Climate Scotland's ongoing informal events programme connecting cultural practices and environmental sustainability across Scotland. Since 2013 Green Tease has provided a platform for those interested in teasing out the links between the arts, climate change and environmental sustainability through the exchange of ideas, knowledge and practices. Green Tease events are equally open to people from creative and environmental backgrounds and free to attend.

Accessibility

Kinning Park Complex can be accessed by the subway and bus. Please refer to their website for more information.

There are two car parking spaces available. Priority use will be given to anyone who requires them for accessibility. Both entrances to the building have ramp access and railing.

This event will take place on the ground floor. There is a dedicated quiet room on the second floor, accessible via lift.

Hearing loop systems are in place.

Do you need support to attend?

Everyone is welcome at our events.

We know that it’s sometimes difficult for everyone to attend because of unintended barriers. We want to make any necessary adjustments to our events so that no one is excluded. These adjustments will, most likely, differ from event to event and person to person, so we need your help to get it right.

Please inform us of your accessibility requirements for this event during the registration process or get in touch by emailing eleanor.white@cultureforclimate.scot if you would like to provide more information or ask any questions.

You’ll understand that some adjustments may take more time to arrange than others, so we appreciate you giving us as much notice as possible about what you need so that we can support you to get the most out of this event.
