Join Lambeth Council in South Bank and Waterloo this June, where iconic buildings on the famed riverside of the Thames sit alongside exciting new development. This Lambeth-led tour invites you to visit key sites of inclusive growth and opportunity, from the largest climate-tech ecosystem in Europe at Sustainable Ventures and London’s growing Health and Life Sciences innovation district, SC1, to key redevelopment sites and world-renowned cultural institutions that call the area home. Along the way, you’ll hear how locally rooted partnerships and major schemes are shaping the future for communities, talent and ideas to flourish.
Location:
The tour will start at the Observation Point on the Queen’s Walk (in front of Gabriel’s Wharf) and will end at The Old Vic.
Timings:
Please arrive from 3.50pm, we will be leaving Observation Point to start the tour at 4pm.
Tour route:
The tour will be kept as accessible as possible, with clear information shared in advance about the distance, terrain and stops. There will be accessible toilets along the route.
Photography:
Photography of the event will be taking place, so if you do not wish to be photographed then please let us know so you can be kept out of shot as much as possible.
