The Yoruba Heritage food trail will give you a chance to taste and experience the rich traditional cuisine of Yoruba culture in Peckham (fondly known as Little Lagos). 

Not only will you get to eat various delicious food, you’ll learn about Yoruba cuisine from a passionate and experienced local guide and get insight into the history of Yoruba food culture. It has been developed in a way that shares the heritage stories of some of the talented chefs, entrepreneurs and business owners that operate in Peckham. It emphasises the human connections between an area we associate strongly with food but do not always see or understand the stories of the people who produce that food. There will be at least 10 stops along this food trail lasting approx 2.5 hours.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

• We cannot guarantee that the various food tasted on this walking trail are free from ingredients that may affect those with food allergies. Please refrain from joining if you have any food allergies.
• Please be punctual or early for the Trail because we are unable to wait for latecomers under any circumstances.
• The guided trail lasts around two and a half hours, starting at Peckham Square and ending at Eko Brewery or at Peckham Square where we began.
• Trails will proceed whatever the weather so, if the forecast is grim, wrap up warm and bring your umbrella.
• Tickets are non-refundable and may not be exchanged or transferred.
• Our Trail is limited to 10 guests, therefore we are unable to accommodate any changes or cancellations.
• The trail is best enjoyed by those over 12 years old.
• Please ensure you stay on the pavement, cross roads carefully, and follow safety instructions from the Trail Guide at all times.
