Description
This guided walking trail showcases the brilliance, impact and monumental contributions of everyday people and events of Yoruba origins that have a connection to Southwark. Our experienced and passionate Tour Guide will take you through locations like Peckham Theatre where John Boyega first honed his craft, Damilola Taylor Youth Centre, Sumner Road Chapel (the first black majority Pentecostal church in the country) and many more.
You'll leave the Trail feeling inspired and invigorated by the stories of resilience and triumph.

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
- Please be punctual or early for the Trail because we are unable to wait for latecomers under any circumstances.
- The guided trail lasts around two hours, ending at Peckham Square where we began.
- Trails will proceed whatever the weather so, if the forecast is grim, wrap up warm and bring your umbrella.
- Tickets are non-refundable and may not be exchanged or transferred.
- Our Trail is limited to 12 guests, therefore we are unable to accommodate any changes or cancellations.
- The trail is best enjoyed by those over 12 years old.
- Please ensure you stay on the pavement, cross roads carefully, and follow safety instructions from the Trail Guide at all times.
