Karma’s Curse (Rhino Fest @ Jarvis Square)
Bobbie is going to prison, no question. Her life has been anything but easy and she has survived by hardening herself to what really matters. Her daughter Denise pays a visit to see if there is anything soft left in the woman. Because right now, even after everything, she needs her mother’s advice and counsel.
This two-person one-act delves into a complex and layered relationship not uncommon for parents and children. Despite all effort to the contrary, in the end, are we all doomed to become our parents?
