David Hauptschein's WELTS! plus Bill the Pencil Craftsman (Rhino Fest @ Jarvis Square)
A new visiting piece from David Hauptschein, plus a Rhino special opener! Mitchell Jackson performs an original monologue, Bill the Pencil Craftsman.
Welts! is a twisted journey into the deep, dark heart of the American medical establishment. David Hauptschein’s alter ego, Frank, has a painful condition of welts that he has seen nine doctors about. He is hoping ten will be the magic number. There is no gunfire or strobe lights, minimal nudity, constant profanity, and perhaps an indecent act committed with a dental drill. Welts! is a play by David Hauptschein, and as such is not recommended for the squeamish. WELTS!
Written by David Hauptschein. Directed by Julio Maria Martino. Performed by Charles Pike.
