The Curraghchase 10Km Run/ Walk has traditionally been staged through the picturesque woodland area of Curraghchase Forest Park and around the former residence of famous Irish poet Aubrey de Vere and while we would love to be able to run the event in CurraghChase for its 9th year, we are unable to do so in these trying times for Ireland and indeed the world.

With the Corona virus having had a global impact, we obviously are unable to host such a large event. However, we are proposing an alternative that will ensure the safety of all involved and anyone across the globe can participate in.

This year we are proposing a virtual run for the CurraghChase 10K. Details are as follows.

• The 10K Run/Walk must be completed between May 9th - 31st 2020.
• If possible, please track your run and post it to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter using #CurraghChase10k #WeRunForYou
• Don't forget to tag us and send us your screenshots and selfies :)
• Registration is €15 and only available online where you can request your Jersey size. The Jersey and medal can be collected at destinations and times that will be provided at a later date depending on government guidelines.

Here is the most important part! All proceeds will go to support our incredible frontline Staff in Limerick who continue to work incredibly hard to help us all get through these very challenging times!

So now is our chance to challenge ourselves while keeping our distance and most importantly making a difference in a positive way.
