Who should attend
We are inviting everyone involved in National Standard training to this year's event. If you are involved in Bikeability Scotland delivery, or deliver Adult Cycle Training in Scotland, we look forward to welcoming you.
What to expect
The event is an opportunity to network, celebrate successes and learn from each other. This is also a chance for scheme coordinators and delivery providers to meet.
The theme of the day will be ‘Reflecting on experience to improve training’.
The event will open with an evidence-based session: Reflexivity in practice - Learning from the University of Strathclyde’s perspectives on road user interactions around Bikeability Scotland. This will be followed by a selection of workshops designed to promote best practice and shared learning. There will be plenty of time to network, with refreshments and lunch provided.
BREAKOUT SESSIONS
All delegates will attend: Let’s talk about eBikes – indoor seminar covering ebikes, micromobility and evehicles – discussing their place in training, sharing roads and shared spaces.
Please choose one additional breakout session: (only available sessions will show)
Learning on the move – Practical outdoor session on moving groups of riders as part of learning, not just to access learning.
Rural riding – delivering the National Standard in a rural setting: indoor workshop exchanging best practice, ideas and innovation.
Tickets to this event are limited to instructors, local authority coordinators and providers who are actively delivering Cycling Scotland's Bikeability Scotland or Adult Cycle Training.
