The Carolina Youth Orchestra Summer Festival provides young orchestral musicians in the greater Charlotte region an opportunity to learn and grow their skills and abilities in a unique three-day clinic hosted at Davidson College. The festival is a collaborative effort between the Davidson College Music Department and regional community youth orchestras. Students will be given the opportunity to experience daily life on campus at Davidson while learning from the CYOSF’s world-class music faculty, featuring Tara Villa Keith, director of the Davidson College Symphony Orchestra and chair of the Davidson College Music Department and Christopher James Lees, resident conductor of the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra.
