We are exhiliarated to have two of our absolute favorite forro teachers on board! Ricardo Ambrosio and Sonja Schell!

Ricardo Ambrózio is a dancer with technical trainning in hip-hop, capoeira, different rhytyms of ballroom dance, Ballet, Jazz and Contemporary, he uses his larger and unusual approach of the body to analyze and build up his own style and didactic, bringing together mixed styles of forró.

Sonja Schell is a passionate dancer and Transformative Bodywork practitioner. Her workshops focus on the connection between body, mind and soul. How can you free your body, connect more with yourself and the person you're dancing with? How can you find more ease and joy in your dance? Her teaching is inspired by different dance and movement backgrounds such as Contact Improvisation, Embodiment practices, Zouk and Contemporary dance.

Frequently Asked Questions:

What's the difference between a catamaran and a monohull?
Catamarans are more stable and spacious, offering more room for dancing. Monohulls, the traditional form of a sailboat, are more nimble and responsive to the wind and waves as well as the actions of the crew. Due to the overwhelming demand for monohull tickets we have decided, for now, to expand the monohull pool in place of a cat. We might add the cat tickets back in case there is sufficient people to fill one so be sure to reach out.

Seasickness?
Most people are not affected by sea-sickness in the Mediterranean and those that are can usually manage it with seasickness medication (and often just on the first day), or a variety of tips that your skipper will be aware of.

Will there be additional costs or charges?
An additional ~100 - 150 EUR is expected to be spent by participants on shared costs like groceries, marina fees, and fuel. We are fully ensuring the boats though, so no chance of additional payments that need to be made in case something goes wrong etc.
