Following the map of the 3 Mandalas — the outer world, inner world, and secret world — we will explore somatically what it means to cross the gates of our inner gardens and meet ourselves through movement, awareness, rhythm, and ritual.

Body Ritual is a somatic movement experience that invites us to move with the body in a sacred and intentional way. Through repetition, patterning, breath, sound, and embodied exploration, we begin loosening the conditioned mind and opening new pathways of perception, expression, and being.

Together, we will explore:

• nervous system regulation
• spatial awareness
• somatic experiencing
• relational presence
• ritualistic motion
• Form vs Formless dance

This journey is not about performance, but about participation — learning to inhabit ourselves more fully while developing the resilience and adaptability needed to meet the ever-changing weather patterns of life.

No dance experience required.

This event is held in the context of the Dance as Medicine 2026 Graduating Cohort and will be woven together with the presence and participation of graduating students throughout the experience.
