*try-out* McKenna Mahacek Turns 30

*this is the try-out version of the piece, the version with full set, lights, and sound will be performed on the 9th of June* 

McKenna Mahacek turns 30 is a dance theater performance-celebration of aging. In her choreographic debut, McKenna celebrates her 30th birthday together with a cast of 14 dancers and actors as they celebrates the knowledge, resilience, and artistic richness that accumulate with age. 

McKenna Mahacek is the creator of Fledgling Dancers Amsterdam, a platform for emerging Amsterdam choreographers and dancers to share their work. McKenna created this platform under the belief that everyone, regardless of gender, race, age, orientation, and ability has an interesting perspective to share, and these diverse perspectives deserve an opportunity to spread their work with a larger audience. Fledgling Dancers Amsterdam also aims to offer enriching experiences for a diverse audience, under the belief that dance theater is for everyone.
