Dance for PD® East Side: Summer 2026

In collaboration with Parkinson's Wellness Foundation, Dance for PD® is pleased to offer a free community class open to the public on the first Thursday of each month from 3-4:15 PM at The Bandeen Center:

In Dance for PD® classes, you'll explore movement and music in ways that are enjoyable, stimulating and creative. This award-winning, research-backed global program is designed for people living with Parkinson's but appropriate for anyone with mobility concerns. No dance experience is required. Seated or standing, you will explore elements of different dance styles with expert teaching artists and energizing and inspiring live music as guides.

Classes are offered free of charge to persons with PD and their accompanying care partners. Membership to The Bandeen Center is not required to join us for classes taking place on the first Thursday of each month.

Advanced registration for in-person attendance is encouraged for each individual, including care partners. Drop-in participation will be accommodated when possible. First-time participants contact us here or call (718) 218-3373 to sign up.
