Fri 20 Jun 2025 4:00 PM - Mon 23 Jun 2025 3:00 PM BST
Bellingdon and Asheridge Village Hall, HP5 2XU
Description
Welcome to our third year of this special journey!
Connecting with our Full Selves through Movement, Intimacy & Presence, with an emphasis on Embodied Movement practices that welcome us as we are, to find our way with Care and Compassion, and with the support of the Community, Sharing Circles, Saunas and Nature!
Saver Earlybird Tickets go ON SALE on December 1st!
Our Part 2 Solstice edition welcomes those who have some experience of working with consent and boundaries, intimacy and movement. We would ask that you have either been to one of our Moving with Intimacy events in the past, or a similar kind of event that has a focus on exploring intimacy with consent. In any case, the structure of the weekend will guide us through a journey that supports us in practicing to identify and work within our own and other's boundaries and to follow our heart's desires whilst respecting and honouring our truths so that we each can be at choice and take the time and space we need to be gentle with ourselves and each other. The difference between this weekend and Part 1 is that we may move a little more quickly through various more introductory consent practices and allow more space for developing connections and practices that offer a slightly deeper dive into intimacy, whilst always at choice and always with care.
Brought to you by the Organisers of Rumble and Moving Connections!
Welcome to this unique and heartfelt offering inviting us to spend a full weekend together, exploring and unravelling our layers through movement, sharing, ritual and tenderness, so that we can blossom and bathe in a sensual bath of delight, knowing there is always a sanctuary, always space for tears, for silence, for love and for pain also.
There'll be a spacious yet full programme of activities offered with choice and the freedom to explore through various connecting practices including Moving Connections, Contact Improvisation, Sharing Circles, Cuddle and Consent workshops PLUS some delicious opportunities to delve into our more sensual selves through our special Ritual Temple Spaces and various more Intimate offerings in our Snug space also (which is going to be bigger than the Snug space in previous years)

About Julia, the organiser
Julia is the creator and manager of Rumble festival, a conscious dance event that combines many different forms of movement and therapeutic practices that enable us to explore our inner and outer worlds in a safe and supportive environment.
Julia's work is inspired by various movement systems such as 5 Rhythms, Contact Improvisation and Ecstatic Dance through which she has been developing her own experience and understanding of dance, connection and the power of movement to bring us into the present moment and explore our relationship to ourselves and our world.
Julia is passionate about creating community in the simplest and most accessible way, welcoming all that we bring and encouraging authentic and open relating in all it's forms.
About the Facilitating team
Julia is incredibly passionate to gather a competent and friendly team of creative, heartfelt and experienced Facilitators who are all passionate about holding supportive and safe spaces that invite participants to explore intimacy through movement, connection and ritual. All the Facilitators will have a wealth of experience outside this container also. See more on each one via the links above.
Gender Balancing
Whilst we are not specific about who we connect with during any of the exercises or sessions, we feel it's lovely to create a sense of balance at this event AND all expressions of identification / non-identification with genders are welcomed and celebrated.
If you are attending as a couple or in an intimate connection with someone else or others in the group, please have a conversation together, to explore what the boundaries of your connection/s are. This will support you both/all to drop into a place of safety within the group context. If you are unsure what this means, then feel free to get in touch.
Important!
This weekend event is alcohol, smoke and drug free. Thank-you for your care to hold this safe space together.
Please respect everyone's choice for physical contact or connection. We are all free to choose with who, when and how we'd like to connect and we ask everyone to listen carefully and trust each other to say "no". We appreciate a "no" as a gift of honesty and self-care.
Thank-you for being you and for being brave and showing up!
Our Container
To help us create a safe container for guests, crew and facilitators also, we will ask everyone to sign up to a simple contract that will specify our requirements around boundaries and consent, confidentiality, filming and photography and any other relevant needs for this event. Exact details on ticket purchase - Please read and ensure you agree to this contract before buying your tickets. Thank-you for your support.
Lower priced tickets
We can offer a few lower-priced tickets for those who are not in a position to afford the Standard price. Please get in touch if you'd like more info on those. Thanks so much.

We are looking for a small team that can help support us with various tasks including preparing the venue and helping in the kitchen plus packing down on Monday and / or Tuesday in exchange for a free ticket and all your food! Please see our application form here for further info and to apply.
