That place, lost in the music, when you are the moved, not the mover.

That unexpected eye contact where we see and are seen

That sweet relief when we drop our performances for something more true.

.. February 6th & 7th we gather in Berkeley, CA to tune ourselves to that FREQUENCY.

We are thrilled to invite you to the 3rd year of FREQUENCY, a convergence of teachers and practices that have shaped Dance Meets Tantra at its core.

We’re coming to let go of our masks, build our capacity, and explore the vulnerable, messy, sweaty beauty of our bodies, hearts, and souls. Led by Dance Meets Tantra and some of our favorite facilitators and musicians in the world, we will establish a trauma-informed foundation of consent, care, and self-responsibility and create a field of connection, permission, and profound learning.

FREQUENCY is a curated, intimate, weekend deep-dive into the vibrant intersection of conscious dance, relational intimacy, somatic attunement, kink, shadow-work, and ceremony & ritual.

Anchored by Dance Meets Tantra and its founder Spencer Jacobson, and guided by luminaries like Rachel Rickards (The Field & Embodied Intimacy), Wren LaFeet (Cocrea partner dance), Glory Moonfire (Bound2Rise), Matt Sturm, Enki (Alchemy Society) and others, we will build a strong container and craft a cohesive arc over two days in the beautiful Berkeley Alembic space.

FREQUENCY is an Opportunity to:

໑ Drink in the wisdom of some of the most impactful teachers in embodiment, relational intimacy, sacred sexuality, and shadow work.

໑ Satiate your curiosity and passion for dance and relational skills.

໑ Dance yourself clean and sweat your prayers

໑ Safely explore your edges and kinky side in a loving, supportive and trauma-informed environment.

໑ Connect & play with a community of like-minded souls and build authentic relationships.

About Dance Meets Tantra

Originating in Boulder, CO, Dance Meets Tantra offers retreats, workshops, festivals and facilitator trainings exploring the confluence of conscious dance forms with relational intimacy, somatic attunement, ritual & ceremony, and kink & shadow work. It's a transformational body of work dedicated to empowering communities to relate with more authenticity, aliveness, and care, embracing both light and dark while cultivating a group energy that is profoundly greater than the sum of its parts.

Dance Meets Tantra is also a movement. Across the country, we’ve seen an outpouring of yearning, love, and passion for conscious dance to evolve—embracing a fuller spectrum of human expression, and creating safer ways to welcome deep vulnerability and eros.

Perhaps you’ve been feeling this call, for dance to become more attuned and embrace a wider spectrum of expression, and for tantra to be more embodied, playful, and vibrant. You instinctively know that something extraordinary happens when embodied movers gather with full permission to be alive, to connect, and to share their magic.

This is Dance Meets Tantra.

✨ A Note on Tantra:

For us, Tantra is the practice and art of being fully alive. There is nothing sexual in nature in the activities we share. Sometimes sexual energy arises, and it is only permitted within the context of consent, agreements, and the container that is set.

Our intention with Dance Meets Tantra is to support individuals in deepening their love, respect, and relationship with themselves, others, and the earth. We believe that dance, eros, and Tantra are fundamental aspects of living a vibrant, empowered, and creative life. Through various explorations, we aim to liberate creativity and life force, inviting you to step into your fullest expression.

We hold deep honor and respect for classical Tantra and the lineages from which it originates. While classical Tantra profoundly influences our work, we do not present ourselves as representatives of classical Tantra.

For more details on sexual energy and our approach, please visit our FAQ.
