Loose Leash Walking
Multiple dates and times
Dane County Humane Society Training Room, 53718
Description
We define loose leash walking as anytime your dog is walking on the leash with no tension in the lead. In this class we talk about some of the reasons why your dog might be pulling and how to address each of these reasons. We include games for lowering arousal in order to make learning more achievable. We provide multiple tools and tips for working with your dog and opportunities to practice. Please note that this class is not appropriate for dogs who tend to bark a lot – please contact us if you have a dog who would benefit from training but is not yet ready for group classes. Our loose leash walking class is appropriate for dogs of all ages, puppies through adults, 12 weeks and older.
