DCHS's Wildlife Center offers a variety of educational programs for all ages. These programs provide one-of-a-kind experiences that teach not only about nature and wild animals, but how to help make our community a better place for both people and animals.

Camp WildSide is held over the summer, and during spring and winter breaks. Children ages 12-15 can enjoy nature and wildlife-related lessons, interacting with the natural world, completing service projects, and having fun with other nature lovers.

Discovery Days are a smaller version of Camp WildSide, open to all ages! There are no time slots during the day and pre-registration is not required, so you can come at a time most convenient to you. All activity stations are optional and at your own pace, but we recommend planning for about 2 hours to experience all we have to offer.
