Creating Space
A creative group for parents bereaved by pregnancy, baby and child loss

Join us for a warm, welcoming and intimate creative session for bereaved parents, led by the wonderful Laura Millward, local creator and host of Creation Station Walthamstow.

Laura will gently guide us through a hands-on creative activity designed to be accessible and enjoyable for everyone. The exact activity will be confirmed soon, but you can expect a practical, relaxed session where you’ll make something to take home with you - along with creative ideas and skills you can continue using afterwards.

The focus is not on being “good at art” or making something perfect. It is about slowing down, using your hands, enjoying the process of creating together and spending time with other parents who understand.

The session will include time to arrive and settle in, creating together, and a chance to chat and connect before heading home. All materials are provided.

What to expect

  • A friendly welcome
  • A gentle, hands-on creative session led by Laura
  • A finished item to take home
  • Creative skills and ideas you can take away with you
  • Time to chat and connect with other bereaved parents
  • Refreshments provided

The session is free to attend and is for adults only.

You are very welcome whether you create all the time, haven’t made anything since school, or feel completely unsure about joining in. Come exactly as you are - you are welcome here.
