Every woman has an innate disposition - the fitra - which is gifted to her by God, but our environments and circumstances also shape us.

In a turbulent world which calls for the removal and rejection of fixed principles and standards which have always guided, nurtured and protected the human being, a woman's fitra is threatened with being lost.

This event will explore what womanhood is, and how it can be reclaimed, nurtured and protected.

The evening will be a soul reviving experience with Dar Al Zahra's resident scholar Ustadha Nagebah Hayel, Ustadha Rummana Shaheen, and internationally renowned Lauren Booth. We are extremely humbled to bring to you our esteemed guest speaker Ḥabīb Kāẓim as-Saqqāf, and performances by Pearls of Islam. May it be a night a true enlightenment and remembrance.
