Join us for our first event to kick off the new term at the Data & AI 4 Climate Lab, bringing together researchers at Imperial working at the intersection of data, AI and climate action. This event is open to PhD students, postdocs, and academics from any level from Imperial.
This lunchtime workshop will highlight some of Imperial's current work across data, AI and climate research at Imperial, showcasing any upcoming opportunities for the lab community to get involved.

12:45 - 1:00 – Flash Talk: Machine learning and climate mitigation scenarios - Speaker: Georgia Ray, PhD student at the Centre for Environmental Policy
1:00 - 1:15 – Flash Talk: New multi-source and multi-modal data-driven models for wildfire detection and spread forecasting - Speaker: Dr Andrew Clelland, Research Associate at the Leverhulme Centre for Wildfires, Environment and Society.
